Customs Officer: Good morning. Customs here. Do you have any food to declare?
Traveler: Morning. Yes, I have a small container of cuttlefish salad in my carry bag.
Customs Officer: Cuttlefish salad? Is it sealed and when was it prepared?
Traveler: It's sealed. I actually took the cuttlefish out of the soup and turned it into a cold salad yesterday.
Customs Officer: So you removed the pieces before packing?
Traveler: Yes, I cut out the larger pieces and put them in a plastic box. I poured most of the broth away.
