Receptionist: Receptionist: Good morning. HealthPoint Clinic. Can I have your name and appointment time, please? Patient: Patient: Good morning. I'm Daniel Price. My booking says nine o'clock, but I arrived a bit early. Receptionist: Receptionist: Thank you, Daniel. I see your record. There is a uniformity in your notes from last visits, which helps us quickly check history. Patient: Patient: That uniformity is good. I've had similar symptoms each time. Receptionist: Receptionist: Do you have ID? We must avoid anyone trying to impersonate a patient when collecting prescriptions. Patient: Patient: Yes, here's my ID. I heard a story of someone who tried to impersonate a neighbour at another clinic. Receptionist: Receptionist: All right. Where do you live now? Patient: Patient: Near the old abbey on Church Lane. The walk from the abbey helps me clear my head. Receptionist: Receptionist: I remember that area. From my vantage at the desk I can see the main corridor and notice if patients need help. Patient: Patient: That's reassuring. From my vantage outside, the clinic looks busy this morning. Receptionist: Receptionist: Do you take any medications? We note sundry tablets in your chart. Patient: Patient: I take sundry vitamins and one prescription. I also picked up sundry leaflets about diet here last time. Receptionist: Receptionist: Good. We have you down for nine fifteen with Dr. Kaur, slightly later than nine, so you may wait ten minutes. Patient: Patient: That's fine. Thank you. I prefer the calm near the abbey before appointments. Receptionist: Receptionist: One last thing, please sign here so we keep uniformity in consent forms.
