Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Maria - Workshop Coordinator: Good afternoon. I'm Maria, the parent workshop coordinator. How are you? David - Parent: Hi Maria. I wanted to say my son came home full of jubilation today after class. Maria - Workshop Coordinator: That's lovely. The teacher shared similar jubilation about his progress this term. David - Parent: He even brought a rubbery dinosaur that squashed his sandwich on the bus. Maria - Workshop Coordinator: Those rubbery toys are very popular, but they can be messy and sometimes unsafe. David - Parent: I called because I'm signing up for the workshop on patriarchy and parenting. Maria - Workshop Coordinator: Yes, the session looks at patriarchy and how it shapes chores and expectations at home. David - Parent: I worry some topics might inflame parents who prefer traditional roles. Maria - Workshop Coordinator: We design discussions to avoid inflaming tempers and to promote calm, constructive debate. David - Parent: Last month a craft session used spray adhesive and the noxious smell stayed in the hall all day. Maria - Workshop Coordinator: We switched to non-toxic glue to remove noxious fumes and to protect children with allergies. David - Parent: When is the meeting exactly? I heard Thursday evening and also a Tuesday session. Maria - Workshop Coordinator: This workshop is on Thursday at 6 pm in Room 12; we also run a Tuesday morning group for childcare. David - Parent: Should we bring anything? Maria - Workshop Coordinator: Just an old newspaper and some rubber bands; we supply the non-toxic glue and scissors. David - Parent: Will there be supervision for kids? Maria - Workshop Coordinator: Yes, student volunteers will watch children in the gym while parents attend the session. David - Parent: Great. I'm looking forward to constructive conversation rather than heated arguments. Maria - Workshop Coordinator: Exactly. We want learning, not hostility, and to challenge patriarchy respectfully. David - Parent: Thanks, Maria. See you Thursday.
