Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Interviewer: Good morning. Thank you for coming in today. I'm the head interviewer for the lab. Candidate: Good morning. Thank you. I'm excited. I'm applying for the research assistant role in immunology. Interviewer: Tell me about your background. What did you study for your thesis? Candidate: I did my thesis on macrophage signalling and cellular responses to bacteria. Interviewer: Where have you worked before? Candidate: I worked at a university spin-off, an offshoot company that developed rapid diagnostics. Interviewer: What tasks did you handle there? Candidate: I led assays on macrophage response to pathogens and helped adapt methods for production. Interviewer: Do you have publications or outreach experience? Candidate: I co-authored a paper and wrote a review where I described strict lab hierarchies as sacrilege in modern science communication. Interviewer: That's a strong phrase. How would colleagues describe you? Candidate: They say I'm precocious as a planner because I take initiative early in projects. Interviewer: Have you led people directly? Candidate: Yes, I supervised five interns. One offshoot project from our group became a prototype product later. Interviewer: How do you feel about ethics and data integrity? Candidate: I would never commit sacrilege by falsifying results. Integrity matters more than short-term gain. Interviewer: What motivates you to join this lab? Candidate: Your beneficent mentorship style is well known. I also value the translational focus that benefits patients. Interviewer: Do you think being precocious is a strength or weakness? Candidate: I see it as a strength. Precocious ideas can be refined. My former supervisor was beneficent and helped me grow.
