Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Organiser: Hi, thanks for coming in. Are you free to volunteer at the community fair this Saturday? Volunteer: Yes, I'd like to help. What will I be doing exactly? Organiser: Main task is the distribution of leaflets and chatting with visitors. The distribution of leaflets will run from ten until two. Volunteer: Where should I meet the team? Organiser: Please meet at the community centre at 9:30 by the main gate. We'll give a short briefing and a name badge. There will be juice and biscuits too. Volunteer: I sometimes find starting a conversation hard. Any tips to help? Organiser: Start with a smile. A simple comment about the weather or pets can break the ice. A quick question often helps to break the ice. Volunteer: Good idea. How do we collect sign-ups? Organiser: Each leaflet has a small detachable section. Ask people to use a tearoff to leave contact details. Remind them to use a tearoff rather than writing on the main page. Volunteer: Should we hand out leaflets everywhere? Organiser: No. Keep the flow steady and focus on busy spots. Don't hand leaflets to empty streets. Volunteers will practice how to use a tearoff during the briefing. Volunteer: Anything else I should know? Organiser: Treat each short chat as a chance to sign someone up. After the shift we can meet at the cafe for a quick debrief.
