Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Admissions Officer: Good morning. I'm Claire from admissions. How are you today? Applicant: Hi, I'm fine, thanks. I came to collect a handbag I left at reception last week. Admissions Officer: Let me check. Was it a brown leather handbag with a small keychain? Applicant: Yes, that's it. I had my student ID and some investor correspondence inside. Admissions Officer: Here it is. You seem well prepared. You're applying for the MSc in Environmental Science, right? Applicant: Exactly. I chose it because of the wide range of modules, especially those on peatland restoration. Admissions Officer: Good. Fieldwork is important. We often take students out to the moor for practical sessions. Applicant: That's one reason I applied — I grew up near the moor and want to study real sites. Admissions Officer: Also, there's an investor visiting next week. He'll attend a fundraising banquet and meet department staff. Applicant: I heard about that investor. I'm hoping investor support might open up a scholarship or a small grant. Admissions Officer: We have a range of scholarships, though not all are investor-funded. The banquet is invitation-only, mainly for donors and new students. Applicant: That makes sense. By the way, I always keep emergency contacts in my handbag, so I'm relieved it's here. Admissions Officer: Excellent. If you want, you can RSVP to the welcome banquet too. It will help you meet donors and the investor when he visits.
