Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Coordinator: Hi, welcome and thanks for coming. I am the project coordinator. Volunteer: Nice to meet you. I'm excited to help this weekend. Coordinator: Great. We start main activities at 9 am, though drivers meet at 8:30 for the van. Volunteer: Okay. Where should I come first? Coordinator: Please arrive at the community centre. We'll have a short briefing there and then move to the park. Volunteer: What tasks will we do? Coordinator: Mostly painting community signs and planting small trees. There's also some tidying, but painting and planting are the main jobs. Volunteer: Do you want me to look over any instructions beforehand? Coordinator: Yes, skim the schedule on the website tonight. Skim it quickly so you know the order and don't arrive surprised. Volunteer: I will. Anything we should bring? Coordinator: Bring gloves and sturdy shoes. If you bring paintbrushes that's fine, but gloves are essential. Coordinator: We did a reconnaissance walk of the site yesterday to check soil and shade. Volunteer: A reconnaissance — so you know what tools to bring? Coordinator: Exactly. The reconnaissance helped us plan, and we want volunteers to be ready, so there's no last-minute scramble for equipment. Volunteer: Good. I'll skim the notes and arrive early to avoid a scramble. Coordinator: Perfect. By the way, we planned two activities, painting and tree-planting, though most people end up doing more gardening than sign-making. Coordinator: We also sent a small team on reconnaissance last month to map parking, so please follow the directions on the map.
