Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Insurance Agent: Good afternoon. This is Continental Travel Insurance. How can I help? Traveler: Hi, I'm leaving in five days and want to check cover for medical things. I carry medication and recently had scans for a possible malignancy. Insurance Agent: Right. Our policy covers emergency treatment and evacuation up to $100,000. It covers acute care but generally excludes treatment for pre-existing malignancy unless declared in advance. Traveler: So if a new malignancy is diagnosed abroad, would that be covered? Insurance Agent: A sudden new diagnosis may be covered as an emergency. But ongoing cancer care for an existing malignancy is usually excluded unless you bought an add-on. Traveler: What about my medicines? I'm worried about potency after long flights or if they get warm in my luggage. Insurance Agent: We cover replacement of essential drugs if lost. We don't usually cover loss of potency due to poor storage by the traveller, but we may reimburse if a flight delay caused spoilage. Traveler: Okay. I'm also concerned about food and sanitation while abroad. If I get a sanitation-related illness, will treatment be paid? Insurance Agent: Yes, treatment for sanitation-related gastrointestinal problems is covered as medical expense. Good hygiene and observing local sanitation advice are recommended. Traveler: One more thing: the clinic here asked me to provide samples that I must excrete, like urine and stool, for tests. Can you help with lab fees? Insurance Agent: We usually cover essential lab tests requested by a treating doctor, including samples you need to excrete. If tests require special handling, tell us and we'll arrange transport. Traveler: My oncologist mentioned possible electron beam therapy and even electron microscope analysis of biopsy samples. Should I notify you? Insurance Agent: Yes. Procedures such as electron beam therapy or specialised electron microscopy should be pre-authorised. Call us before treatment so we can confirm cover and organise pre-payment.
