Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Contemporary urban development often hinges on detailed attention to wind and microclimates. In our city redevelopment project the prevailing wind comes from the northwest. Designers study wind to avoid unpleasant gusts at street level. Tall buildings can create wind tunnels if poorly oriented, so orientation is adjusted accordingly. The central park will cover 12 hectares. It includes a five-kilometre cycle route and broad promenades where joggers often trot at a steady pace. Historically a bridle path ran through the site and horses used to trot along it in the nineteenth century. Completion is scheduled for 2028. The tallest residential tower will be 28 storeys, although some early reports mentioned 30 or even 35 storeys. Such conflicting statements have caused confusion among residents. A key social aim is integration. Language learning programs for newcomers are part of the plan. Workshops, community tutors and signage in multiple tongues aim to support immigrants. The city will also commission a language learning app so adults can practise while commuting. Planting more trees will soften wind effects and encourage people to linger. Small fountains, benches and lighting are also proposed. The design balances mobility, green space and social facilities. It intends to make the area lively but also comfortable for those who walk, trot or cycle through it.
