Could you show how you'd communicate that? Candidate (Daniel): I logged the samples, labelled phosphate levels, and wrote a coherent report for management. I also sent a snappy summary email to the operations manager. Interviewer (Clare): Some people here are a bit prudish about discussing mistakes openly. How did your team react when the phosphate issue came up? Candidate (Daniel): They were prudish at first, reluctant to talk. I wasn't prudish; I suggested a quick meeting, reenacted the containment steps with the team, and we fixed the leak. Interviewer (Clare): That's helpful.
