Putaran 5

Dengar ulang tanpa subtitle

📝 Transkrip Dialog IELTS Speaking

Landlord: Good afternoon. I manage a prim one-bedroom on Maple Street. It's clean and neat, very prim but cosy. Applicant: That sounds good. I like prim spaces. Can you tell me about storage for food? Landlord: Sure. There's a small kitchen and pantry. You may keep comestible items there, but please use sealed containers for any comestible goods. Applicant: I usually buy comestible supplies once a week. Is there anything I should avoid storing? Landlord: Yes. No kerosene heaters or kerosene lamps inside, they are a fire risk. Also, we don't allow open fuel containers. Applicant: I once smelled kerosene near a basement heater, so that rule makes sense. What about noisy neighbours? Landlord: There is a stentorian tenant above who plays music sometimes. We ask everyone to avoid stentorian noise after 10 pm. Applicant: I understand. I don't want late noise. Any other pantry examples? Landlord: People keep canned goods and things like gelatin in the pantry. Gelatin sets quickly and is easy to store. Applicant: I make desserts with gelatin, so that's handy. How much is the deposit and rent? Landlord: The deposit is $400 and monthly rent is $800. Laundry is in the basement, no pets are allowed, and street parking only. Applicant: Great. I value quiet and cleanliness. I can pay the $400 deposit and move in next month.
