Receptionist: Good afternoon. Welcome to the Grand Plaza Hotel. How can I help you today? Guest: Hello. I have a reservation under the name Brown. I booked for three nights. Receptionist: May I see your ID please? Thank you. Our system shows a booking for two nights and room 312. Guest: Oh, I thought it was room 502 for three nights. I'm a bit unconvinced that is right. Receptionist: If you are unconvinced, I can email the booking details now. Some sites show different information. Guest: Please do. Also, the online photo made the bed look bigger. I hope the price does not deceive me. Receptionist: We will not deceive guests. If anything is wrong, we will sort it out. Guest: Yesterday I tried to use an old key card and it failed. That was a bootless attempt to open the door. Receptionist: I'm sorry about that. A bootless try like that is unusual. I'll give you a new card now. Guest: Thank you. I also read one comment that breakfast was included, but another said it was not. Receptionist: Breakfast is included with this rate. If that comment confused you, we can clarify by email. Guest: The room smell reminded me of my grandmother's house. It might rekindle old memories. Receptionist: I hope your stay will rekindle happy memories. The Wi-Fi and heater work quickly. Guest: When the heater turned on straight away it felt like sorcery. Later the fast Wi-Fi felt like sorcery too. Receptionist: It is not sorcery. It's just new equipment. If you are okay, here is your key and a copy of the booking by email. Guest: That's fine. Now I feel more convinced. Thank you for your help.
