Customer: I've been off work and I also had a thyroid gland problem that affected my income. Teller: I'm sorry to hear that. We can consider a period of forbearance. First, we must verify the facts. Teller: Please do not misstate dates or income on the application form. Accurate details are important. Customer: I understand. I can bring a doctor's note from my gland specialist. I don't want to equivocate about my situation. Teller: Good. We cannot accept falsehoods in any documentation. If someone submits falsehoods about work or health, we must refuse the request. Teller: Our usual offer is three months of forbearance initially. We may extend it to six months if the doctor confirms ongoing treatment. Customer: Three months would help a lot. I might need more time if my gland condition persists. Teller: Please do not equivocate on the doctor's letter, and do not misstate the exact dates of your absence. Teller: Bring the doctor's note and your ID. We'll review everything and let you know. Customer: Thank you. I appreciate you being clear. I certainly won't submit a falsehood.
